SUMMARY :

Dubai Design District – also known as d3 – features a mix of office space for lease and open plan land for development. The free zone is aimed at creative industries – primarily those relating to design and fashion. d3’s world-class business facilities are home to many prestigious global brands, sitting shoulder to shoulder with local and boutique design studios and fashion houses.

d3 also features a number of retail outlets open to the public as well as a bustling restaurant scene and several event venues which regularly hold fashion and design showcases. There is also land available in the free zone for developers to create design-led hotels and dining establishments.

A portion of the d3 site is reserved to build academic space where the next generation of design institutes will shape minds and hone talents. In it’s own words, Dubai Design District sets out to be “…a place where bohemians can live, work and play. Where aspiring designers can cut their teeth and learn their trade; where local talent can work alongside international design, art and fashion houses.”

Along with its creative environment, another major selling point of d3 is its location. Set beneath Dubai’s stunning skyline and just minutes from the looming Burj Khalifa, d3’s extensive transport links make business travel easy – for both local and international businesses. d3 is flanked by the E311 and the E611 – putting the free zone within easy reach of several sea ports and both of Dubai’s international airports.
