SUMMARY :
Dubai International Academic City is the world’s largest free zone dedicated to higher education and the pursuit of intellectual growth. Launched in April 2007, DIAC was created to cater to Dubai’s growing and diverse community of academics. Today, the free zone is home to many local and international colleges and universities, serving over 24,000 studies from every corner of the world. In the ten years since it opened, DIAC has expanded to offer over 400 undergraduate and post-graduate programmes.
As well as welcoming the formation of new FZ-LLCs, Dubai International Academic City is also open to branches of existing businesses – both local and international – and solo-entrepreneurs and freelancers. Along with its world-class academic facilities, DIAC also boasts a multitude of retail outlets and a large food court with multiple cafes and restaurants, including Starbucks and Costa.
DIACs strategic location is another factor in its appeal. Located on the junction of the E66 and E611, the free zone is within easy reach of downtown Dubai and Dubai International Airport. DIAC also benefits from excellent public transport links, situated as it is on a major RTA bus route.
