SUMMARY :
Hamriya Free Zone Authority (HFZA) issue commercial, industrial and trading licences to businesses from a wide cross-section of industries. The 22 million square metre site is open to businesses of all sizes and split into several zones: SME Zone, SME E-office Zone, Hamriya Logistics Village, Hamriya MB (micro-business) Zone and the 7 Magnificent Zones which includes Oil & Gas Zone, Petrochemical Zone, Steel City, Construction World, Timber Land, Maritime City and Perfume Land.
There are many benefits to setting up in HFZA. The emirate of Sharjah – where the free zone is located – is home to an abundant supply of inexpensive energy along with low cost labour and cost of living. Sharjah is also the only one of the seven Emirates with ports on the Arabian Gulf’s west and east coast – offering businesses direct access to the Indian Ocean. Sharjah Airport – which is just 30 minutes from the free zone – also connects to 230 cities worldwide.
Hamriya Free Zone Authority offers many office packages and business facilities, from serviced office suites through to pre-built warehouses and factories – it is even equipped with its own water port and harbour. There is plenty of leisure and residential space on site too, including accommodation for staff and a recreation centre and health club.
