SUMMARY :
Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF-ZONE) issues general trading, commercial, service and industrial licenses to businesses from a broad spectrum of industries. The free zone offers numerous leasing options including offices, warehouse, storage, container parking and bunkers.
SAIF-ZONE is set up to support businesses of all sizes – whether they require a single desk or an entire manufacturing plant. The free zone even has facilities for labor accommodation – with 82 dedicated staff quarters buildings equipped to house 14,500 workers in close proximity to a mosque, retail outlets, supermarkets, pharmacies and a clinic.
Due to its location, at Sharjah International Airport, the free zone is particularly popular with import / export, freight and cargo businesses. SAIF-ZONE also benefits from excellent road links, with the adjacent E88 putting the busy sea ports of Khalid and Hamriyah within just half an hour’s reach. The larger container port of Khor Fakkan, with its links to the main east-west shipping routes is a little over an hour and a half away.
The Emirate of Sharjah accounts for over a third of the UAE’s total industrial activity and offers access to a global market of over two billion people within a four-hour flight of the city.
